A very good historical effort. Well acted and well filmed. Well directed by Robert Redford and a provocative look at a major aspect of Lincoln’s assassination you probably know very little about. It only lacked in crisp writing and a little action. This a very good Saturday morning matinee film. It is not a good date film nor one I would hit at 10:00 PM on a Friday night though.
